Curriculum
D-PREP International School is located close to Mega Bangna. It is a strategically convenient area in Samutprakan that is accessible and, at the same time, peacefully surrounded by greenery.
The D-PREP community comprises culturally diverse and forward-thinking families that believe in a well-rounded and balanced approach to education. D-PREP is built around students’ needs so they can learn in a clean, safe, and conducive environment. The school also has complete and modern facilities.
We have a space dedicated to sports such as football, swimming, and basketball. We also have rooms for extracurricular activities like aerial dance, robotics, digital and design thinking. D-PRPE adopts the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards as the foundation of the curriculum.
In Primary Years, this is delivered through an Inquiry-based approach utilizing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. In Middle Schoola nd High School, the curriculum is delivered through an Experiential Learning Model and Advance Placement (AP) Program.
Attractiveness and Strengths
D-PREP International School brings together the best educational practices worldwide. In Early Years, D-PREP uses the Reggio Emilia learning approach, while Primary Years uses the IB Program. For Middle School, D-PREP uses the Expeditionary Learning Approach, where students practice experiential learning or learning by doing. In High School, D-PREP uses the Advanced Placement (AP) Program where students get to choose a pathway that suits their passions and strengths.
What makes our school unique is that it promotes holistic learning for each child. We understand that education has to adapt as the world goes through rapid change. At D-PREP, students are being prepared for a future that they will be living in and leading as the future generation.

In an interview with Mr. Techatorn Jamikorn and Mrs. Lavitra Jamikorn, parents of D-PREP students Anchan and Lukjan, shared the notable growth in their children’s independence and problem-solving skills after studying in D-PREP.
Both their children fostered critical research and problem-solving skills at a young age. Mrs. Jamikorn specifically highlighted Anchan’s impressive English proficiency when they traveled to America.
Anchan confidently assisted with translations, which left a lasting impression on store staff. “Anchan was so responsible and helpful during our travels. Even though she’s young, the people around us were so impressed and called her the “‘Baby Boss!'”

There are few schools that accept students with low English proficiency after secondary, but here they will be accepted. This is great news for students whose native language is not English!

In Bangkok, there are plenty of international schools offering the IBDP, but not so many that adopt the IBPYP. It’s great that one is opening in the Bannar district.
A new school might be an unknown quantity, but it’s luxurious to have fantastic new facilities and small class sizes. Plus, the intimate, homely atmosphere with fewer students means closer relationships with teachers, which is really pleasing.

The school impressed me with its state-of-the-art facilities, including DEAN & DELUCA on campus, an E-sports classroom, facilities for aerial yoga, and security checks using facial recognition. It seems to have the most advanced facilities among international schools in Bangkok.

・For primary:Educators use the IB PYP method of assessment, i-Ready assessment, and NWEA MAP standardized achievement test.
・Secondary: Assessments include the NWEA MAP test, Formative (teacher assessments), Summative (End of Quarter Exams), and AP Exams (High School)

・Primary Students take an assessment test and from there, the ELL department determines whether a student needs additional ELL support or not.
